৬ষ্ট বর্ষ পেরিয়ে সাফল্যের সপ্তম বর্ষে পদার্পণ করলো দেশের জনপ্রিয় বেসরকারি স্যাটেলাইট নিউজ চ্যানেল নিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর। গত বৃহস্পতিবার (২৮ জুলাই) রাজধানীর বসুন্ধরা ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কনভেনশন সিটির ‘পুষ্পালয়’ হলে এ উপলক্ষে এক জমকালো অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। অতিথিদের নিয়ে কেক কাটা, ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা, ভালোবাসার বাণী দিয়ে উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়।
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বসুন্ধরা গ্রুপের চেয়ারম্যান আহমেদ আকবর সোবহান, বাণিজ্যমন্ত্রী টিপু মুনশি, খাদ্যমন্ত্রী সাধন চন্দ্র মজুমদার, দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও ত্রাণ প্রতিমন্ত্রী ডা. মো. এনামুর রহমান, ইস্ট ওয়েস্ট মিডিয়া গ্রুপের পরিচালক ইমদাদুল হক মিলন, চ্যানেলটির নির্বাহী সম্পাদক রাহুল রাহা।
দিনভর এই আনন্দ আয়োজনে বিভিন্ন ব্যক্তি ও প্রতিষ্ঠােনের পক্ষ থেকে ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা জানানো হয়। অনেকে কেক ও নানা উপহার নিয়ে অনুষ্ঠানে সরাসরি হাজির হন। বর্ণাঢ্য এই আয়োজনের ফ্রেমবন্দী কিছু মূহুর্ত পাঠকের সামনে তুলে ধরা হলো।
